INTRODUCTION
A generation priced out — and unprepared.
According to a CBS report from 2018, only 48% of millennials believe that buying property is still a good investment, which is a record low.
From the struggle to afford property to the lack of knowledge, the majority of people in younger generations have not been properly equipped to venture into real estate. Whether you are looking for a property for yourself and your family to grow, or to make some money, ProsProperty aims to educate users and help find properties to launch, maintain, and prosper in your goals.

CONCEPTION AND DESIGN
Understanding User Needs
Before users can feel confident investing in property, they need simple ways to explore, compare, and return to the listings that matter most. These objectives focus on removing friction from discovery and helping users move from curiosity to informed decision-making.

STYLE GUIDE
Making a Complex Process Feel Approachable
The style guide prioritizes simplicity and readability, creating an experience that feels supportive rather than intimidating for users navigating property for the first time.

RESPONSIVE DESIGN
Designed Mobile-First, Scaled with Intention
ProsProperty was designed with a mobile-first approach to ensure essential content remained focused and accessible on smaller screens. The experience was then thoughtfully expanded for tablet and desktop, preserving usability while allowing space for deeper exploration.
Each breakpoint uses its own grid system, built on a consistent 4-point grid to maintain visual rhythm and alignment across devices. Navigation and content density were the primary areas of adaptation, evolving at larger screen sizes to support additional information without overwhelming the user.

NEXT STEPS
Designing Beyond the First Iteration
Moving forward, the focus will be on refining and expanding the ProsProperty experience through additional screens and feature enhancements. Usability studies will be used to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement, allowing design decisions to be guided by real user behavior. As insights are gathered, the UI will continue to evolve to better support clarity, confidence, and ease of use throughout the property discovery process.
